Yoga studios, highs in the 60s, flannel, and HAMfire

I step off the plane after a six hour fight from Baltimore to find that it’s a good 10 or 20 degrees warmer than I’d expected, and sunny. I get my bags, hop into a cab, and try to take in what I can of San Francisco on the relatively short drive to my apartment in Potrero Hill. I’d always heard San Francisco was hilly, but nothing could have prepared me for how steep this hill I live on actually was; taking my bags out of the trunk, I feared they were going to roll all the way down it…
